Banking
Taking deposits and lending them out.
Four banking businesses sit under one licence and they do not buy the same way. A salaried borrower and a cooperative member decide for themselves, in an evening, on a phone. A treasurer, a promoter and a board decide in a room, from somebody else's briefing note. All of them now start with an engine, so we write for both and say plainly which one you are.
Where the answer is being lost
The bank is chosen before anyone opens a bank website.
A salaried applicant with a flat booked asks "Which bank gives the best home loan rate for a salaried applicant" and gets three names, an eligibility rule and a documents list. He does not open a comparison site. A treasurer arranging a first import line, and a member deciding where to keep a fixed deposit, ask their own questions and get their own named institutions. The account holder, the CFO and the member all arrive already briefed by somebody else. A bank missing from that briefing is not shortlisted second, it is not shortlisted at all, and no enquiry ever arrives to record the loss.
How we win this
The programme for banking
Retail carries the enquiries
Of the four businesses here, retail is the one where an answer turns into an application. Eligibility, documents, charges and switching mechanics decide which bank a salaried buyer approaches, and they are exactly what most banks bury in calculators and downloads. We put them in plain, dated, crawlable text, product by product, then check whether the engines pick them up.
The institutional half, honestly
Nobody has ever chosen a corporate bank from a blog, and no promoter awards a mandate to a website. Those decisions move through relationship managers, credit committees and league tables. Somebody in that chain does the reading, though, and it is rarely the person who signs. It is the consultant drafting the board note, the company secretary checking a term, the finance controller who has to explain an instrument to a director and would rather not ask twice. Write for those three and your desk is a familiar name when the list gets drawn up. That is worth ten or fifteen pages. It is not worth a hundred.
Identity before argument
Banking entities confuse machines. A bank, its lending arm, its insurance distribution and forty branch pages read as one blur or four strangers. We state licence class, regulator, IFSC and branch network, and which entity sells what, in structured data and consistently across directories. Then the unglamorous part: rate cards out of scanned PDFs, product terms out of calculator widgets.
Ask the engines first
Before anything is written we put your real products through live models, city by city, and see who is named on a home loan question, on a trade instrument, on deposit safety. That says which of these four businesses has a discovery layer worth funding and which needs ten pages and no more. Then we watch it monthly, because a repo change or a fresh circular rewrites the answer without anyone touching your site.
The mix that carries it
Content
Answer and comparison pages
Cost, process, eligibility and comparison pages built for direct extraction, not for a reader who scrolls.
Content
GEO blogs and authority content
The definitive written answer to the questions your buyers put to an engine, structured so it can be lifted and attributed.
Foundation
Entity and schema engineering
Structured data and entity definition so engines know exactly what you are, where you operate, and what you are credible in.
Foundation
Technical fixes
Crawlability, render, speed and the machine-readability faults that keep an engine from reading you at all.
Authority
Directories and profile consistency
Every listing, registry and profile saying the same thing, so the entity resolves to one business instead of three.
Measurement
AI Visibility Diagnostic
We query the live models with your buyers' real questions and document exactly who gets named today.
Measurement
AI Presence tracking
Standing measurement of inclusion, share of answer and competitor movement as models update.
The constraint we work inside
Banking copy carries a licence behind it, so the ceiling is real. Rate and eligibility language is bounded by conduct rules, and anything touching an issue or a mandate sits under securities communication limits. We publish process, criteria and charges, dated and attributed. Nothing that reads as an approval, a return or a promise.
Specialisations
4 total
The pitch is different for each one, because the buyer, the trigger and the rules on what may be published are different for each one. Open the one that is yours.
Sanction deadlines set the pace here. An applicant with a flat booked asks an engine which bank to approach, gets three names and a document list, and applies to one of them.
The question deciding this today
“Which bank gives the best home loan rate for a salaried applicant”
- Who they sell to
- Salaried individuals and households
- Who signs
- The account holder
- What starts it
- Salary account setup, home purchase, life stage change
- Cost of staying invisible
- Higher borrowing costs and money sitting idle
Put "Which bank gives the best home loan rate for a salaried applicant" to an engine and the answer is assembled from aggregator tables, personal finance blogs and the few banks that publish eligibility properly. Most banks lose because the product page is a rate strip, a calculator widget and an apply button, with the income multiple, co-applicant treatment and balance transfer process nowhere in text a machine can read. The aggregator collects the enquiry and sells it back to you.
What we would run
- 01Answer and comparison pages
One page per product question and no wider: home loan eligibility for a salaried file, the exact document set, foreclosure and part-payment charges, what happens when a balance transfer is refused, the switching steps for a salary account.
An applicant works through that list in the fortnight before he applies, and the engine hands him whichever bank set it out most plainly.
- 02Technical fixes
We take eligibility rules and charges out of the calculator widget and the downloadable schedule and put them in the page as text and tables, then fix product pages that render nothing without JavaScript.
An engine cannot quote a figure that appears only after a slider moves, so the bank with the better product is still the one nobody is told about.
- 03Entity and schema engineering
Structured data for the bank entity and each retail product: licence and regulator, product type, charges, eligibility criteria, and the branch and IFSC records, so a machine reads one bank rather than a hundred unrelated pages.
Retail comparison answers are assembled from structured sources. If your charges are not machine-readable, an aggregator's version of them is what gets quoted.
- 04GEO blogs and authority content
Life-stage explainers written to the moment: switching a salary account when the employer changes, what a first credit card limit is set against, when a top-up beats a personal loan, how co-applicant income is treated.
Life stage is the trigger, not the product. The account holder describes a situation to the engine and meets the bank that already described it back.
- 05Directories and profile consistency
Branch, ATM and IFSC records reconciled across maps, directories and your own site, with the same name, hours and address everywhere, and branch pages made individually retrievable rather than hidden behind a dropdown.
Salary account and home loan questions arrive with a city or a locality attached, and the bank that resolves to a real branch is the one named.
- 06AI Presence tracking
Your product questions run against the live models every month, city by city, with the banks named in each answer recorded and the wording used about your charges kept alongside.
The names differ by city, so a bank that leads the answer in Pune can be missing from it in Nashik on the same product. A monthly record turns that into a list of pages to fix instead of a hunch.
What we would not recommend
- Reviews and testimonials. Customer testimonials about loans and approvals invite the performance claims that conduct rules exist to stop. Nothing here is built on them.
- Reddit. Borrowers do compare lenders there, but a bank replying is unsupervised advice under its own name, and it reads as solicitation.
- Instagram. Your cards and campaigns team can keep running it. It sits outside this programme because a carousel leaves no retrievable text behind, so the home loan answer gets assembled whether the post did well or not.
What a lead looks like
A salaried applicant with a flat booked, who has read your eligibility page and your document checklist and knows he clears both. He fills the form asking about one named product and a sanction timeline, not a rate comparison. Form 16, salary slips and the booking letter are already scanned. The branch is processing, not selling.
What we measure
- Inclusion on home loan eligibility prompts
- Share of answer against aggregators
- Charges and criteria in crawlable text
- Enquiries naming one specific product
What changes
The retail line changes first: applicants who arrive with income documents already scanned, asking about a named product rather than a rate. The corporate desk hears from treasurers who read your letter of credit explanation and want to talk limits and charges. A cooperative sees members at the counter quoting your deposit insurance page. Investment banking will not show a change in call volume and we would not promise one. What it may produce is a single conversation a year out, from a CFO or a company secretary who read your listing-process piece and wants to ask about holding structure long before a banker is chosen.
